Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or a mix of oregano, basil, thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2–4 hours. For maximum flavor, marinate overnight.
  • When ready to cook, remove chicken from marinade and discard the excess.
  • Grill, bake, or pan-sear the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
