Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 package crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and onion powder until well blended.
  • Using a can of crescent roll dough, unroll it and separate it into triangles along the perforations.
  • Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken filling at the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll the dough from the wide end to the pointed end, creating a sealed pillow.
  • Arrange the rolled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
  • Brush the tops of the pillows with a beaten egg for a shiny finish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
