Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, chives, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
Place a generous tablespoon of chicken filling at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, sealing the filling inside.
Arrange the filled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush melted butter over the tops of the pillows.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt additional butter and stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning for the sauce.
Once the pillows are baked, serve them drizzled with the garlic Parmesan sauce.
