Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup cranberries dried or fresh
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or cooking spray for baking

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked onion and garlic with the ground turkey, bread crumbs, cranberries, thyme, sage, beaten egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Using your hands, form the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball.
  • Place the stuffing balls on a greased baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the balls are cooked through and golden brown on the outside.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
