Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, and garlic powder until well combined.
Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and then the grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once out of the oven, let it cool for a minute, then garnish with chopped fresh parsley before slicing.
