In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda, then gradually add it to the butter mixture.
Fold in the chopped nuts evenly throughout the dough.
Drop rounded teaspoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 3 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
