- 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 4–6 lemons
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
- 4 cups cold water

In a blender, puree the berries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
In a large pitcher, combine the berry puree, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water as needed.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and fresh berries if desired.
