Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 4–6 lemons
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar adjust to taste
  • 4 cups cold water

Instructions

  • In a blender, puree the berries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the berry puree, lemon juice, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add cold water and mix well. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water as needed.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and fresh berries if desired.
