- 4 cups fresh clams shucked
- 4 slices of bacon chopped
- 1 large onion diced
- 2 stalks celery diced
- 2 medium potatoes peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Begin by cleaning the clams thoroughly then shucking them.
In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
Add the diced onions and celery to the pot and sauté until soft.
