Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup Philadelphia cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup ketchup for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent. Set aside to cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the cooled onion and garlic mixture, along with the softened Philadelphia cream cheese, to the meat mixture.
  • Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
  • Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  • Slice and serve warm, drizzled with additional ketchup if desired.
