  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish according to package instructions.
  • Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, then drain excess fat.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme until well combined.
  • Stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese into the egg mixture.
  • Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
